When is Yakkerboo Festival?Yakkerboo Festival will be held on the weekend of 13th and 14th February 2027.
Where is the festival ground?The 2027 Yakkerboo Festival will be held at PB Ronald Reserve, which is bounded by John St & Henry St behind the Pakenham Library.
Does it cost to enter Yakkerboo Festival?There is NO COST to come along to Yakkerboo. Entertainment and community displays will have free activities. On the Saturday night, rides will be at carnival prices. On the Sunday, All riders must purchase a wristband.
Are pets allowed at the festival? While we don’t say no, please bear in mind that Yakkerboo Festival attracts large crowds of people, as well as fireworks on the Saturday night. It can be quite difficult to navigate in some places and it can be quite overwhelming for animals!
Will there be EFTPOS or ATM Facilities? All-day ride passes may be purchased by EFTPOS at the Yakkerboo Festival Committee tent. Market vendors may provide EFTPOS at their discretion. There are ATMs available at nearby Pakenham Marketplace and bank tellers on main street Pakenham.
Will there be a Parade in 2027? 2027 will again feature a walking parade along the footpaths at PB Ronald Reserve. Applications for Parade entry can be found on the Entry Forms page of this website.
Where is the best place to view the Parade? 2027 will feature a walking parade along the footpaths at PB Ronald Reserve. You may view entries standing along the sides of the footpath or as groups are presented across the stage. See our parade map for more information.
How much do the rides cost? The rides are at festival prices on the Saturday night. These prices are set by carnival operators on the day and tickets will be sold on the night from ticket booths onsite. On the Sunday only all riders will need a wrist band. The wrist bands will be available prior to the festival via ticketyboo or for sale on the day.
Where do I collect my pre-purchased rides wristband? Pre-purchased wrist bands can be collected from the Yakkerboo tent at the festival grounds on the Saturday night between 5pm and 9pm or on Sunday from 10am.
Where can I get a rides ticket? Saturday night rides tickets can be purchased at the festival grounds on the Saturday night from the carnival booth. All day Sunday wristbands can be purchased online through ticketebo or at the festival from 10am on Sunday 14th February.
What time are the rides? The rides will operate from 5pm-9pm on Saturday 13th and 10am-3pm on Sunday 14th February. Pony rides and the petting zoo will only operate on the Sunday, from 10am-2pm.
When are the fireworks on? The Fireworks are on Saturday night, approximately 9pm. There are approximately 10 minutes of fireworks.
What do I get with my wristband? The wristband is for Sunday 14th only. This wristband allows the person wearing it to get unlimited rides, pony rides and access to the petting zoo. Full rides list coming soon.
I'm a carer, do I need a ticket to ride? On the Sunday, all riders must have a wristband.
